The 100 Season 6, Episode 11 gave us some major plot points with just a handful of episodes left for the season. Here’s a look at all the events of the night.

There were plenty of truth bombs throughout The 100 Season 6, Episode 11. With the Children of Gabriel finding out about their leader, Octavia and Bellamy getting a heart-to-heart, and a look back at Echo’s past, we got an episode of detail to push storylines forward.

It’s time to delve into “Ashes to Ashes.” What would happen to Echo and what’s the plan against Sanctum now?

Madi deals with Sheidheda

More from CW

The episode starts with Jackson harvesting bone marrow from Madi. After she initially tricks him to free her, he manages to get her sedated again. It’s time to see her back in her head with Sheidheda, who wants to help her get revenge against those who killed Clarke.

Someone might have wanted to pass on the message that Clarke isn’t actually dead. Honestly, everyone in The 100 would do so much better with all being on the same page.

The Children of Gabriel learn the truth

When the Children of Gabriel turn up while Clarke, Bellamy, Octavia, and Gabriel discuss the next steps. The truth is out, and it turns out that Gabriel has been in this body for 10 years. Naturally, everyone is angry and nobody trust him or the Wonkru members.

However, just as it looks like Clarke is going to be killed, Gabriel makes it clear that he won’t build the bomb that Bellamy offers to take out the Primes. Their need for revenge trumps their need to kill Gabriel and Josephine.

The bomb will use the toxin that causes hallucinations. It would encourage an evacuation, but they need to use a lower amount of the toxin; just enough to set off the bugs. Clarke can then head into Sanctum and get her people, while trying to save some of the others. Bellamy certainly isn’t going to like this!

One thing that has to be said is that Clarke is learning from everything that happened when Josephine was in her head. She wants to avoid genocide and I can get behind this.

A chance to talk

Finally, the Blake siblings have a chance to talk while collecting plants for the toxins. We also seem to get confirmation that Diyoza was killed in the anomaly, but I’m still not convinced.

During the conversation. Octavia admits that she always needed Bellamy. He’s her rock and without him during the five years in the bunker, she did things that she now regrets.

With apologies and hopes of forgiveness, Bellamy does admit that he views Octavia as his sister still. There’s a chance of the two coming back together, but Bellamy makes it clear that Octavia is no longer his responsibility. It’s time for her to gain her wings and fly.

And after this Bellamy certainly isn’t happy with Clarke’s plans but he doesn’t really get a chance to argue. Clarke brings up the “do better” from Monty.

An attack from Murphy to get Josephine back stops everyone in their tracks. Clarke pretends to be Josephine to get back to Sanctum. It’s time to get the plan in motion, while Eliza Taylor once again kills it with her acting as Clarke pretending to be Josephine.

Echo faces life as a Prime

Arrested as a traitor, Russell debates about what to do with Echo. He should kill her but she’ll make the perfect guinea pig for testing the bone marrow to create Nightbloods. And when she does become a Nightblood, she’ll have Simone’s mind drive placed in her head.

While imprisoned, Echo learns why Ryker betrayed her after all. He was doing it to protect himself and his mom, knowing that all those who aren’t Primes will turn against him and all other Nightbloods the minute he finds out what’s happened all this time.

We finally get some backstory on Echo — it turns out that she killed the real Echo as a child in self-defense — but it’s clearly just a story to stall. Her friends come to save her, although she’s a NIghtblood by then. At least she gets to kill Ryker.

Odds and ends:

  • Bob Morley did an excellent job directing The 100 Season 6, Episode 11, especially with some of those emotional scenes.
  • As much as I’m not Raven’s biggest fan, I did miss her in this episode considering she was the one that, with Murphy, offered to make new Nightbloods.
  • Will everyone learn that Murphy didn’t actually want to get Josephine back?

Next. The 100 reminds us of the excellent transformation Indra has received. dark
