ABC has chosen to renew its summer unscripted staples. The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise will both return in summer 2020.

Can’t get enough for the search for love? Well, it’s not over yet. Both The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise have been renewed for new seasons. This comes ahead of the Bachelor in Paradise Season 6 premiere tonight on ABC.

Both have become summer staples for the network, so the renewals are not surprising at all. They will both return in 2020, and likely in the summer period. Why “fix” something that isn’t broken?

More from ABC

The Bachelorette Season 15 ended last week with Hannah B making her final pick. Will it last? I guess that’s something we’ll have to wait and see since there were two speculations at one point. The season saw a two-year high for the finale in terms of the live ratings.

As for Bachelor in Paradise, that premieres tonight and I’m sure there will be spoilers all over the place. In fact, I’ll bring the spoilers I know for those who are interested in the events of each episode and the ending. Last season, the show was at the top of the key demos on Mondays and top of the female demo on Tuesdays.

During the summer TCAs, ABC also shared that The Bachelor Season 24 will premiere in 2020. No date has been set yet, according to Deadline. Chris Harrison will continue to host all three of the match-making shows.

It’s clear there remains an audience for the shows looking for love. This news comes off the back of CBS renewing Love Island for Season 2.
