The 100 Season 6 finale picks right back up where the penultimate episode left us. Here’s everything that happened in the episode.

If you thought the ending to the penultimate episode of the season was too intense, it didn’t take long to get answers to what happens next in The 100 Season 6 finale. We picked right back up with the Lightbourne “family” holding their guns to the heads of three of Wonkru on board the ship.

Naturally, Indra made it clear that the Primes wouldn’t live if they even thought about killing Madi, Raven, Jackson, and Gaia. However, Gaia managed to get a message to her mom. Don’t fight this. There’s a bigger plan in motion.

Unfortunately, that plan couldn’t be shared right away. Clarke was forced to knock Madi out, making it look like she really is Josephine. It’s enough to get Wonkru under control and imprisoned while Russell and his “family” figure out what to do next.

Is Abby really gone?

The Primes decide it’s time to head to a new planet. There are many others out there and they can move between them if the next isn’t habitable. While setting up the system to create more nightbloods, Clarke decides to find out whether her mom has survived.

The same neural mesh that Clarke had was inside Abby’s brain. However, Russell made sure that the host was destroyed this time. Finding out her mom was gone, Clarke dropped the pretense and took the nightblood serum, leaving Russell and Simone.

Russell decided to get Madi to force Clarke and the others into working with them. Meanwhile, Simone headed out with guards to find Clarke. It didn’t take long thanks to a tracker, but they find Clarke tying herself to the ship. Simone attempts to pretend to be Abby, but it doesn’t work. Clarke opens the doors and floats the guards and Simone.

It’s heartbreaking watch Clarke have to get rid of her mom’s body. However, we have to remember that it was no longer Abby!

Dealing with Sheidheda

While all this happened, Raven took A.L.I.E.’s book and hooked Madi up to a computer. Indra shares the story of Sheidheda from her past. He would burn villages to the ground for not bending the knee, so she accepts that this heda needs removing.

Raven gets into the code, only to find that there’s a kill switch. They can kill Sheidheda but it means destroying the Flame. Gaia agrees that this should happen and Raven works on downloading Sheidheda’s code to use the kill switch.

Before the download can complete, Russell walks in and takes Madi for his revenge. Sheidheda is in control, offering a way for Russell to get real revenge, keeping his planet and his people.

Clarke manages to get through to Madi by threatening to kill herself. It works long enough to get the Prime and his guards under arrest, allowing Raven time to download the Sheidheda code and kill it and the Flame. But just as it looks like everything has been solved, the Sheidheda code is uploaded into the mainframe.

What’s happening on Alpha?

Meanwhile, back on the ground, war has broken out. Wonkru and the Children of Gabriel on the ground are captured by the Primes. It looks like they’ll all be forced to go through the Adjustment Protocol, but Murphy and Emori—pretending to be their Prime counterparts—step in. They take as many of the prisoners as they can back to the castle.

However, Murphy is stopped by his Prime’s boyfriend. When the boyfriend kisses Murphy and Murphy doesn’t respond appropriately, it’s clear that this isn’t the right guy. Murphy does find a way around it by saying that something went wrong with the resurrection and he needs the Adjustment Protocol with Gabriel.

Naturally, everything was a trap. Murphy and Gabriel take on the followers in the Adjustment Protocol tent while Bellamy, Echo, and Octavia work together to take down all the followers waiting outside.

Just as it looks like one of the followers is willing to burn herself and run into the tent of the Adjustment Protocol to “cleanse” Sanctum. Octavia prevents it but catches fire and has to rip her jacket off. Gabriel notices a tattoo on her back. The anomaly stone has imprinted on her.

After Wonkru gets the chance to reunite, it’s time to figure out what to do next. First, Gabriel takes Octavia, Bellamy, and Echo underground to the anomaly stone. The tattoo on Octavia’s back is a code, which Gabriel uses on the stone. It causes the anomaly to spread, where Diyoza’s grown daughter steps out of the anomaly and stabs Octavia in the stomach. Suddenly, the daughter dies and Octavia is taken by the anomaly.

We’re left with the anomaly closing back in and Bellamy shouting for his sister. I guess that’s what we’re going to cover in The 100 Season 7.

Odds and ends:

  • This is an episode full of reunions. The Blake siblings finally see eye to eye and Clarke and Raven finally make up. If only it wasn’t all under the circumstances it was!
  • Paige Turco got so many meaty scenes this season. I’m glad Abby got the redemption arc she was deserved, but I’m going to miss Turco on screen.
  • Lola Flanery proved her excellent abilities during the episode. While taken over by Sheidheda, there was absolutely no hint of Madi in there.
  • So glad we got to find out what happened to Jordan and he really is his parents.
  • Can we please stop splitting Bellamy and Octavia up?
