5. Taken Down

Do you need an Irish crime drama in your life? Taken Down offers that. When Esme Lukasa, a Nigerian girl, is found dead at a bus stop in Dublinm the police need to figure out everything that happened. Lynn Rafferty stars as Jen Rooney, who leads her team of detectives to a center for asylum seekers.

Esme isn’t the only girl who disappeared from that center. Now there’s another girl somewhere out there, and the detectives find themselves in the murky waters of the traffickers and slumlords looking to do harm. Can they find Esme’s killer and the missing girl before the worst happens? Find out in this six-episode series.
