The CW has finally dropped the new teaser for All American Season 2! While it may be brief, it left us with plenty of questions ahead of the premiere.

Fans have been waiting months now for All American Season 2. The CW has rewarded our lack of new episodes with a new teaser trailer for the upcoming season.

When Season 1 of the show ended, Spencer was left with a massive decision on his hands. Would he return to Beverly or return to Crenshaw to play for his dad, Cory? The trailer may have spoiled his decision!

But don’t worry, there are plenty more mysteries ahead, and the trailer delivers on opening the door for new questions too. After watching it several billion times, I’m left wondering about a few things myself.

6. Did Spencer decide to remain in Beverly?

If I didn’t know any better, I would say Spencer decided to stay back in Beverly. At the beginning of the episode, he is clearly at Beverly, with Billy watching him from the stands. It looks like a (new?) girl is warning him to be careful as she tells him he’s got “big problems, and they’re about to become everyone’s.”

In the end, we see Spencer with Layla (who are shown kissing earlier in the trailer, so it looks like they’re still together!) at what looks like the beach. She tells Spencer he’s about to be the “big man on campus.” Well, after winning the championship, that would make sense – if he does indeed stay at Beverly.

5. Is Coop still in danger?

Coop is a magnet for trouble. Tyrone might be gone, but Coop is now dealing with the repercussions of involving the cops. Someone has spraypainted “snitch” on her locker. Spencer is worried about her and Coop brushes him off. Is there a new threat in Crenshaw? How worried should we be about Coop (again)?

4. Who is the memorial for?

In one moment of the trailer, we see everyone in Crenshaw gathered around what looks like a memorial. Are they there in remembrance of Shawn? Or did some new tragedies occur?

We also saw a firetruck for an instant in the frame before the memorial, which leads me to believe something terrible might happen in Crenshaw early in the season.

3. Is Laura okay?

We only see one image of Laura, and in it, she looks devastated. She is crying on the bathroom floor with a nervous Olivia walking in behind her.

Laura is going through a lot right now with the discovery of Billy’s infidelity and dissolution of her family life. But did something else happen to trigger her meltdown?

2. What’s going on at South Crenshaw?

We get a very brief glimpse of Cory coaching his South Crenshaw team. Based on my frame-by-frame perusal, I didn’t see any recognizable faces. Cory looks happy. I’m curious to see how his new coaching gig pans out.

1. Who is Jordan fighting?

It looks like the fights aren’t going to stop any time soon for Spencer or Jordan. While Spencer is trying to have Coop’s back in Crenshaw, Jordan is getting decked in the face by some bearded guy in Beverly. Who is he and does Jordan engage in fighting him or try to be the bigger person and walk away?
