2. McGee and Jimmy learn the truth

We knew eventually the two would need to find out. In fact, more than the two found out the truth, but the biggest moments was the way that they found out that Ziva was alive.

McGee was the first to learn. He and Bishop eventually agreed that nobody else should know, but it was soon clear that this secret wasn’t one they could keep. While angry at Bishop, the two were able to work together to follow a few leads.

However, they would have to tell Torres. And that led to Jimmy finding out because he was, as Bishop put it, “under a table.” Bless Jimmy. There’s no anger from this sweet boy. He just struggled with not telling anyone else, especially Kasie.

I wish Ducky was there to find out. Maybe in NCIS Season 17, Episode 2?

1. Ziva’s anger at Gibbs

There were a lot of emotions throughout the episode, many of them coming from Ziva. After escaping the multiple near-death moments throughout the episode, she has a chance to open up to him. Along with the story behind the necklace, she talks about whether Gibbs would do everything to be with his daughter again.

Of course, Gibbs thinks that Ziva is talking about Kelly. And yes, he’d do anything to be with his daughter again, but she’s dead. However, it turns out that Ziva was talking about her.

Ziva is angry. When the news spread that Ziva was dead, everyone believed it. Nobody thought for a second that maybe, just maybe, Ziva had faked her death or that it was all a ploy to take her somewhere. Nobody went looking for her.

She doesn’t blame Tony. After all, Tony had to be there to look after Tali. Instead, she was angry that Gibbs abandoned her. That moment hurt but it also rang true.
