3. Season 7: “Flu-ouise”

Moving onto the top 3 premiere episodes, this might be the point where people start disagreeing which is fine. Either way, coming in at #3 on my list is season 7’s “Flu-ouise,” which is easily among the best of the best when it comes to Louise episodes. This episode has so much packed into it that it could really fit at any point in the season but it was a great way to kick off season 7.

The episode is all about Louise getting the flu and having crazy dreams due to the medicine she’s on. The dreams refer not only how sick she is but that her family accidentally ruined her favorite toy, Kuchi Kopi. The episode also parodied Wizard of Oz with Louise’s dream sequences and the multiple things she ends up running into it which resemble her family in a lot of ways. By the end of the episode, Louise learns to forgive her family for what they’ve done and realized that maybe she does need to be a little bit more mature about things.

On the whole, this episode has everything that makes for a good Bob’s Burgers premiere. It features Louise as the main focus and by the end, she learns a lesson which isn’t easy for her to do. It also shows a more mature of her which isn’t showcased as often. Additionally, there are multiple musical moments in the episode which is a trademark.

Lastly, the episode brings back one of our favorite side-characters, Kuchi Kopi. This was a great start to season 7 and would have been higher if it weren’t for the last two.
