Sons of Anarchy and Mayans MC finally make a full reunion, with multiple charters of each having a sit down to discuss a new partnership.

Based on the previous episode of Mayans MC, there appears to be a new player in town. The Vatos Malditos (VM) run Tijuana, but they are infringing on Mayan territory. Taza was a previous member, but left when a cat named El Palo gained control.

Here are the top five moments of the Kukulkan episode of Mayans MC.

Patch time!?

Are they really holding a vote to finally patch EZ in? He has killed and conducted an assortment of crimes for the club. He’s almost their second form of muscle. Surely they have to let him in. Moreover, the trouble with his brother is water under the bridge. According to a conversation with his father, the vote is in one week.

EZ and Emily grow closer.

Their history makes their connection impossible to deny. Their use of each other to do dirty work, however, are now making things much more complicated. Now she knows about EZ’s father’s history, as well as the Galindo money transfers to kill EZ’s parents. He even let her know his theory that Ignacio Cortina ticked off the Padre Galindo and had to go into hiding, but was discovered in Santo Padre some time later after Miguel moved into town. She doesn’t want to believe it, but the dots sure line up correctly.

Chibs returns!

More from FX

Not only does Chibs now apparently represent the SOA as President of the Reapers, since he’s requesting Mayan presence at a meeting of charters, but he is also asking them to get into the long-standing Irish gun-running. Throw in the VM and their nine dead members thanks to the Mayans.

This is guaranteed to be a horrible idea, regardless of the deal being struck or retribution. And that’s before it even started.

It comes as no shock that the VM betray the Mayans, sneak attack the club, and not only appear to have blinded Coco, but also may have killed Riz.

Potter plays the green card.

As much as I don’t like the character and the portrayal, watching Potter drop the threat of deporting Felipe Reyes with the threat of ICE purgatory was classic. EZ and Angel are now on the hook and have to work for “the man.” That is, until they figure out how to double-cross him.

Dita and Felipe say their final words.

In what could be their final, clandestine, rooftop meeting, Dita and Felipe come to an agreement. She doesn’t want him to tell Miguel about their past, no matter what happens. This is going to almost certainly put Felipe in a bind sometime in the near future. (Prediction: He’ll say something to Miguel to save his sons.)
