We’ve been taken on one hell of a twisty ride in Emergence so far. You didn’t think that would stop when the show reached its winter break, did you? You certainly don’t want to miss the Emergence winter finale live tonight on ABC.
Apparently, there’s a twist that nobody has seen coming. There have been the odd one or two of those along the way already. Did any of us really think that Piper would turn out to be AI? That was pretty fun, especially the fact that she was never supposed to find out what she was.

Now she knows, and she doesn’t seem to have shut down with that knowledge. Instead, she seems to have rewritten herself, which does make her extremely dangerous. In the wrong hands, she could be used for some extremely dangerous activities, including destroying the entire world. It’s no wonder some people want to shut her down.
That looks to be where we’re at during Episode 9. The Emergence winter finale will see a mysterious woman attempt to reach Piper. This puts the entire Evans family in danger, yet again. It’s not like it’s dangerous enough with Jo and Chris trying everything they can to avoid the FBI, is it?
Meanwhile, there’s some hope for Ed. He’s getting a cancer treatment option. However, he’s skeptical. It seems just a little too good to be true. Is that because it is?
