10 animated movies to look forward to in 2020

9. Bob’s Burgers: The Movie

Keeping with the theme of animated movies we don’t know much about, Bob’s Burgers: The Movie was a must on this list. Not only am I a fan but the creator has been teasing the movie ever since it was announced.

There was already a little bit of hullabaloo surrounding the movie as the release calendar was posted and the movie wasn’t on it. However, Loren Bouchard was quick to clear it up and explain that the movie is still coming and we shouldn’t worry.

Despite his insistence, there aren’t many details out about the movie. Right now, we’re basically in the dark on what the movie could be about. Of course, it’s going to follow the Belcher family but not much else. It’s a bit frustrating as the movie is almost six months away and we don’t really know anything.

We also haven’t seen any footage of it either. Bouchard has dropped some hints on Twitter and the film has been confirmed as being a movie-musical. Considering how big of a role music plays in the series, it’s no surprise.

With a current release date of July 17th, 2020, Bob’s Burgers: The Movie has the potential to be a smash hit. It’s a way to give fans of the series what they want and hopefully, bring an entirely new market. Regardless of the lack of details, this is one movie that no doubt will be heavily discussed this upcoming summer.
