Shaving People, Punting Things is back at it again with an excellent Supernatural trailer, titled Drowning. Here are the top five takeaways from it.

The people behind Shaving People, Punting Things are at it again. There’s a new “appa-teaser” for Supernatural ahead of the Season 15 midseason premiere. The clips offer an insight into the next few episodes.

These promos aren’t official but they are from the production team behind the series. So, we can treat them as semi-official when it comes to figuring out what to expect from the series.

With music from Radio Company, which Jensen Ackles is part of it, the clips are up to Episode 12. what can we expect? Well, here’s a look at the video first and then I’ll get into the five biggest takeaways.

5. What’s real and what’s a vision?

More from CW

One thing that’s difficult to tell is what’s real and what’s a vision from Chuck. The last we saw of Sam, he and Eileen had been tricked into helping one of Eileen’s hunter friends. Chuck pretended to be the woman, and now we’ll find out what’s happened to the two of them in the Supernatural Season 15 midseason premiere.

Hopefully, Eileen isn’t going to be killed off just after getting her back. However, what we do know is that Chuck is going to give Sam a vision of what’s to come. Some of these clips could certainly be those visions, like the one of what looks like Bobby killing Sam.

Could they be visions of different worlds? Are they just a vision of this one world that the Winchesters are currently in? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

4. Someone close to Jody is dead

Jody phones what seems to be the Winchesters telling them “she’s dead.” While there’s a clip of a ghostly Eileen afterward, there’s no guarantee that Jody was actually talking about her. She better not have been!

I get the sense that this is going to be someone close to Jody. Could it be Donna? How about Alex or even Claire? My gut is going with Claire since it’s difficult to get Kathryn Newton on the show due to her success in The Society. But Patience or Alex would be other options to see Jody as broken as she is.

Dark!Kaia looks set to return too. There’s always a chance that Dark!Kaia and Jody somehow connected and Jody is upset about that, but I doubt it. Instead, I get the sense that it’s someone Jody has a home connection to.

3. What’s with the costumes?

There are various moments when the Winchester brothers are in some odd costumes. Sam has a scarf that reminds me of Fred in Scooby-Doo or even some aristocrat in a weird 1920s movies. There’s a moment when Dean is on a stage in a white top hat.

I’m assuming this will be from some sort of monster-of-the-week episode. Is this some sort of world that God is going to throw them into? Will a witch show up and put them in a musical? Honestly, those clips made me take a step back but also made me need to know more.

2. Billie is back

FINALLY!!!!! Death!Billie is back in the action in Supernatural Season 15. There’s just one clip, but she’s holding her scythe and it looks like she’s in the Bunker. There’s no sign of Jack just yet, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be far behind.

The last we saw of Billie and Jack was in the Supernatural Season 14 finale. Yes, that long ago! We’ve had eight episodes of wondering when the two would come back. She needed Jack’s help for something, so I at least hope that she gets a message to the Winchesters to tell them they’ve not 100% lost Jack just yet.

Give them something good. They’re going to need it with the next takeaway.

1. Going out like Butch and Sundance

There’s a lot of talk about Butch and Sundance. This has been a regular theme for the show, with it being viewed as the only way the series could fully end. Of course, fans don’t want that and it looks like the stars don’t really want to see it, but is there another way for the brothers to stop hunting? I mean, if they don’t, we’re going to need more episodes!

At one point, the two look cornered and agree to go out like Butch and Sundance. Then there’s a moment where Dean looks to give up hope. He’s not even willing to go out like Butch and Sundance. And then there’s that clip in the cage.

Oh, there’s so much to take from this promo. These are just five takeaways, but I urge you to watch the clips over and over again to see what you can take away.
