Mark is the good guy from Love is Blind. The sensitive, thoughtful, loving man trying to win someone’s heart. Make no mistake, however, Mark has red flags.

Love is Blind has plenty of problems. A few of the participants are massive caution signs, and others are actually so bland that nobody really cares (*cough* Kelly & Kenny). There is one couple, however, that is just an implosion waiting to happen.

Jessica’s issues are viral at this point. So, it’s time to talk about Mark’s five glaring red flags, that should be warning signs to everyone.

1. Blindness

Let’s get to the big one first. This guy is completely blind. Instead of Love is Blind the show should be called Mark is Blind. There is absolutely no way anyone with functional eyes can think that Jessica is actually into him, much less Mark himself.

Her body language is all over the map. Sometimes she leans in, and sometimes she’s all over him. He has to realize this is a big warning sign. She’s not physically attracted to him. Full stop. Coincidentally, their intimacy has been nearly nonexistent, even if both of them have withheld reality from their nosy friends.

2. Finances

While it’s possible Mark may eventually make a great living, he currently doesn’t. He’s a 24-year old, as Jessica has informed us roughly 100 times, and is not quite established financially. In fact, he lives with two roommates. His room is somewhere between 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up, with just enough for Jessica to criticize when she visits. He should have really just listened to advice from the aforementioned movies.

To be honest, we all know she would have said something regardless of how he lived.
