Love is Blind: Mark’s 5 glaring red flags
Mark has way more issues than just being completely blind to the issues Jessica has displayed for the entire Love is Blind-watching world to see.
Apparently blindness is not the only affliction with which Mark suffers. Some of his other senses are also stunted.
There may also be a more nefarious issue.
3. Deafness
This may seem trivial, but if he hasn’t realized by now that Jessica has a different voice for him and Barnett, then his ears are about as functional as his eyes.
The nasal squeal she reserves for flirting and for when she greets her dog are completely different from her speaking voice. For the voice Mark never hears, there is a Kardashian vocal fry, valley-girl flare to it. Each word trails off an extra “uh” syllable. It’s extremely irritating, and virtually nobody finds it appealing.

4. Muteness
At some point in a healthy relationship, there needs to be discussion. Both parties need to talk about what makes them happy, and what upsets them. Absolutely no relationship can work long-term if one side is a dictator and the other side is a doormat. If one side is abusive, and the other side is perpetually forgiving.
She basically told him “while drunk” that she would step over his prostrate body in order to get into Barnett’s bed, and what did Mark do the next morning? He served himself a plate of crow alongside a slice of humble pie. He all but apologized to her while forgiving her. Pathetic, and unsustainable.
5. Sincerity
Maybe it’s just me. Maybe not. But are the aforementioned four items simply a distraction for an ulterior motive? Is Mark hoping to parlay this experience into a more lucrative fitness career? Or maybe a reality career? Could Mark be the next Bachelor? It all smells a bit fishy to me.
The Love is Blind finale streams tomorrow, Feb. 25, on Netflix.
