What are you catching in theaters this weekend? Here’s everything playing in a theater near you on March 13, 2020.

If you have scrolled through everything Netflix or Amazon Prime have to offer, you probably feel like it’s time to head to the movies! No, not Hulu or Vudu or another streamer, but the actual movie theater you drive by on your way to and from work. What’s playing near you this weekend, March 13? Let’s have a look!

Movies always take a bit to pick up at the beginning of the year. January is a rather slow month, February begins to see a few hits, but March is the month we, almost always, see the most action. Of course, this doesn’t mean that the movies are all great, necessarily, but they will definitely give audiences something to talk about.

March 13 sees the release of four big movies, from action to romance! You’ll have so many options, you may just decide to do a double feature! And if you just can’t wait until Friday, March 13, look up movie showtimes, a lot of these films have screenings as early as Thursday night (March 12).

BloodshotThis movie stars Vin Diesel, Elza Gonzales, Sam Heughan, and Toby Kebbell. Bloodshot is based on the comic book of the same name, which follows Ray Garrison (Diesel), a soldier who was killed in action, but brought back to life as a weapon. He’s now a soldier with special abilities who is used for missions. Ray is quick to learn that he is being manipulated, and controlled. This causes Ray to lose sight of reality as he struggles to break free. At Rotten Tomatoes, the movie has a low 39% score from critics. I would skip this one and watch it on streaming, instead.

The HuntStarring Ike Barinholtz, Betty Gilpin, Emma Roberts, Hilary Swank, and others, The Hunt has been controversial long before its release date! Will it live up to the low expectations or end up surprising critics and audiences? So far, the response isn’t too bad, it has a 53% from critics at Rotten Tomatoes.

The movie follows a group of strangers who wake up in the middle of a clearing. Unsure of where they are, how they got there, and why, the race is on to survive as they quickly realize they are “the hunt.”

I Still BelieveWant to skip all the action this weekend? Hey, with what’s going on in the world, I don’t blame you! How about something more romantic that will hit you right in the feels? I Still Believe follows the true life story of Christian music singer Jeremy Camp and his journey to stardom. The message the movie delivers is that there is always hope in the midst of a tragedy. With an 86% at Rotten Tomatoes, critics are loving it. The movie stars

Never Rarely Sometimes AlwaysIf you think 86% from critics is great, check out the score for this movie — a perfect 100%. Never Rarely Sometimes Always is being praised as powerful and important, with amazing and emotional performances. The story follows Autumn (Sidney Flanigan), a young pregnant woman who isn’t sure she wants to keep the baby. Autumn’s only support is her cousin Skylar (Talia Ryder). The two head to New York City on a journey of friendship, growth, and bravery.
