4. That’s So Raven

In coming up with this list, I knew there had to be at least one TV show from Disney+ but it was tough to narrow it down. So many Disney Channel TV shows have great female friendships. We could look to the more recent shows such as Girl Meets World or Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure or maybe a little earlier such as Wizards of Waverly Place and Hannah Montana. However, the era we’re focusing on the early to mid-2000s which featured both Lizzie McGuire and That’s So Raven.

While Lizzie Mcguire is currently in the news, it would only be right to shift the focus to Raven and That’s So Raven. If you aren’t familiar, the series follows Raven who can see into the future and the shenanigans she gets herself into. Raven is frequently joined by her best friends: Chelsea and Eddie.

While Eddie has a decent role in the series, Chelsea is known as Raven’s best friend and the two are much closer than her and Eddie. Since the two have known each other since preschool, it shouldn’t surprise any fans.

Their friendship even brought them into the next decade when That’s So Raven was rebooted with both actresses reprising their roles. Of all the shows on this list, That’s So Raven is one where you can jump around and watch your favorite moments without committing to a complete binge watch. Rather, you and your friends can text each other to compare notes about episodes, characters and maybe, even Chelsea and Raven’s friendship.
