6 TV shows to watch if you’re missing your friends while isolating
5. Dollface
Of all the TV shows on the list, this is the most recent and a huge departure from the last show mentioned. If you don’t think She-Ra is your speed, then Dollface might be. Airing its first season on Hulu in December 2019, the series quickly became a favorite. Considering the series only has 10 episodes, this is a good one if you don’t want to commit to a full series yet and would rather go for something a little bit lighter.

Dollface focuses on the main character, Jules who gets broken up with and must find her way back to her best friends and single life. The series does a great job of showing how a relationship affects friendships and how being single after a long-term relationship changes you. While Jules is the main character, we also get a peek into the lives of her friends: Stella, Madison, and Izzy who couldn’t be more different. Then again, it’s part of the reason why they’re such close friends.
What makes Dollface so great is how realistic it all is. Throughout the series, we watched the girls grabble with their friendship, dating, their career and trying to balance it all. The show also features some great cameos including Joey Lawrence, Dave Coulier, and Macaulay Culkin. Plus with the main cast of Kat Dennings, Brenda Song, Shay Mitchell, and Esther Povitsky, you really can’t go wrong. If everything else doesn’t convince you, there is also a Cat Lady so this is a must-watch if you or your friends haven’t watched yet.
