In the premiere episode, Unearthed looks into the mysteries surrounding the Lost City of Babylon, something the Bible shares was an ungodly place. Yet, it holds once of the seven legendary Wonders of the World, the Hanging Gardens. Did the Hanging Gardens really exist? What did they look like?
With unprecedented access to pioneering archeology, we’ll go inside a brand-new excavation site with Unearthed. It’s time to see new evidence about the kingdom, dating back to the earliest known existence of it. Researchers will give us a look at the city walls and the real size of the legendary city.
Our friends at the Science Channel have even given us an exclusive sneak peek of the Unearthed premiere, giving us a hint of the technology we’ll expect to see. It’s time to learn more about Babylon, it’s Hanging Gardens, and so much more.
Throughout the season, we’ll also learn more about the Walls of Jericho and Egypt’s Black Pyramid. And it’s not all about centuries past. Unearthed will also take us inside New York’s Twin Towers.
