In the penultimate episode of Station 19 Season 3, Sullivan started the attack against Chief Dixon. Just what trouble will this man cause for everyone?

Caution: There are spoilers in this post from Station 19 Season 3, Episode 15.

You just knew when Chief Dixon came onto the scene on Station 19 Season 3 that he was going to cause trouble. Little did we know he is making trouble for himself and he’s about to be exposed. Of course, there’s no way that he will go down swinging.

The penultimate episode saw Dixon make good on his promise to Sullivan. After sweeping Sullivan’s addiction and theft of drugs under the carpet, Dixon made it clear that Sullivan would owe him one. It didn’t take long for Dixon to call in a “favor,” by getting Sullivan to sign off on a fire inspection that had never been carried out.

More from ABC

Sullivan didn’t like it, but he did it anyway. However, Vic calling him out on his actions led to Sullivan choosing to take a stand. He told the board that Chief Dixon had covered up Sullivan stealing drugs.

This wasn’t just Sullivan putting his own career on the line. He knows that he will likely lose his job over his actions. However, he’s taking Dixon down with him. This wasn’t the first coverup. Dixon continually abuses his position, including getting his son in the firehouse despite never passing the written exam.

The problem is Dixon is a man with no morals and there will be others out there who will owe him one. And the board isn’t just going to take Sullivan’s word for it. There will be a huge investigation, and we know Dixon has already threatened various jobs, including Ben and Bailey’s. The whole of Station 19 will be under threat with Sullivan’s actions.

I don’t have anything bad to say about Sullivan for his actions, though. Not at this point. It was time to do something to take Dixon down. The man is dangerous and corrupt. I just feel for those who will be put in the firing line.

Dixon will fight this. When he does, we could see Ben and Bailey without jobs, Maya may be demoted, and Andy could end up being transferred to another station (if she even gets to keep her job with her connection to Sullivan). Dixon has powerful friends and he isn’t afraid to use them.
