5 competitors on The Challenge: Total Madness who deserve to return

The Challenge: Total Madness may be over, but who should return?
The popular MTV series The Challenge just wrapped an impressive 35th season, with an overall ratings surge and formats that allow countless casting additions. Even though there’s a revolving door of potential cast members, there are a few from Total Madness who deserve a chance to return for the 36th season that was just recently announced.
If we’re assuming that Johnny Bananas is taking a year off and knowing that MTV has recently severed ties with a few cast members, who should make a comeback?
Jay Starrett
The Challenge rookie came to MTV after a stint on the CBS series Survivor and proved himself very early on. The Survivor alum went into three eliminations, winning his first two with the second being against Challenge legend CT.

By the time Jay was eliminated, it was in a physical competition against a man much larger than him, so his loss seemed imminent. With Jay nearly giving himself a concussion and repeatedly overcoming the odds, he has obviously earned a shot at redemption in another season.
Nany González
Nany is a recurring staple amongst the vast Challenge cast, always giving an honest opinion or an entertaining take on the madness of the competitive series. Almost every season, Nany is able to navigate the political aspect of the game, but comes just shy of a final or a win despite her ability to socially adapt. A Nany win feels like it has to be in the works, with her most recent return to the series getting her impressively close to securing her spot as a champion.
Chris ‘C.T.’ Tamburello
There’s no doubt that CT is considered a Challenge god, with a few season wins under his belt and some of the most unforgettable eliminations of all time. CT likes to joke that he might not be in the same shape he was in years prior, but the combination of reputation, sheer strength, and quiet intelligence makes CT one of the most feared competitors for good reason. CT lost an elimination against Jay on Total Madness, but perhaps this could just ignite that fire to get himself another win.
Jenna Compono
The “barbie beast” of The Challenge is easily one of the kindest personalities that MTV has ever seen, occasionally seeming like a fish out of water on a cutthroat series. Though she might not be willing to get as dirty as many winners have, her ability to perform in daily challenges and eliminations makes Jenna one of the most dominant women in recent years. If Jenna is able to show up and perform without any outside conflict, she could very well be looking at earning her first official win.
Tula “Big T” Fazakerley
Big T was one of our picks for challengers we were excited to see return, and she certainly didn’t disappoint. On her second season, the all-around lovable Big T attempted to get more hands-on and the result made Fazakerley a fan favorite.
Whether she was getting a power high or freaking out over fresh cotton pads for a drunken injury, you can’t help but want to see what else Big T has to offer and she seems like a great addition to the series that spotlights memorable personalities. Because of her unfortunate injury, she was removed from the game before we could see her reach her full potential so there’s a definite need for more Big T on our screens.
The Challenge will air an episode of unseen footage and reunion bonus content next Wednesday on MTV, so check it out and sound off about who you hope to see on The Challenge 36 below!
