Titled “Afraid,” it looks like we’re going to face a few fears throughout the episode. And it’s not all about triple-checking the birth control. Wynonna needs to face an old enemy, and she’s clearly terrified in the promo for the episode.

She needs Doc by her side. The good news is Doc Holliday is there. He’s always there for the Earps. He went to the Garden purposely to get Waverly back, knowing Waverly needed him more than Wynonna at that point. Now it’s Wynonna.

The question is why this monster is back. And it sounds like he’s not the only one. That’s why Wynonna has been kidnapped. She’s needed to deal with some monsters that have been unleashed. Are they from the Garden and does this have something to do with Eve? Has Eve managed to get out after all?

Meanwhile, Waverly and Nicole look for help. There’s a lot to unpack with these two. For Waverly, nothing has changed. She wasn’t gone for 18 months. At least, not in her mind.

Nicole has gone through 18 months of hell. She’s no longer the sheriff, and it’s clear that the town has gone crazy. She’s had to keep the homestead safe, and that’s certainly not been easy for her to do. What is she hiding from Waverly? Will we find out in the all-new episode?
