9. True Grit
This movie features an all-star cast that includes Josh Brolin, Matt Damon, and Jeff Bridges, it’s no wonder why it received a 96% fresh score from critics over at Rotten Tomatoes. True Grit may be a decade old, but it still holds up and is a very fun movie to watch.
If you missed the movie when it was in theaters or this is the first you hear about it, miss out no longer and stream it this weekend!
The story follows Mattie Ross (Hailee Steinfeld) after her father is murdered by a hired killer. Ross is determined to find her father’s killer, so she hires U.S. Marshal Reuben J. “Rooster”
Cogburn (Bridges). On their journey, they form a beautiful bond.

The movie that needs no introduction, but we’ll give you one anyway! Bong Joon-ho’s Academy Award-winning film Parasite can best be described as a dark comedy thriller.

Parasite follows a family living in poverty who are hired by a wealthy family after they each fake their identity. They pretend not to know one another and slowly recommend each other for the job until each is employed by them. But their scheme comes to a shocking halt that will have you talking for weeks!
