Doctor Who and other TV theme tunes you get stuck in your head after hearing

TV shows are nothing without their theme songs. They are the thing we all look forward to, hearing just a beat tells us immediately what we’re listening to. But not all TV theme tunes are made equally.

There are some theme tunes that will get stuck in your head as soon as you hear them. You sing them throughout the day, and you can even pick them up while trying to think of other songs. For example, I end up humming X-Files when I’m actually trying to hum Are You Afraid of the Dark? accidentally, and then I’ll end up with the former stuck in my head for the rest of the day.

So, with that in mind, here are the 11 best TV theme tunes that you’ll definitely have stuck in your head for the rest of the day.

Doctor Who

Do-do-do-do, do-do-do-do, do-do-do-do, do-do-do-do, dooo-weee-ooooo…

Tell me that you haven’t got the Doctor Who theme song stuck in your head right now. There are a few versions of it too, so everyone will get a slightly different version stuck in their heads. But one thing is certain, you’re going to hum it for the rest of the day.

Just a few beats of this theme song and you immediately know what’s coming on your TV screens. It’s one of those that will stand the test of time, forever being on the minds of TV addicts.

There are no words to this. It’s all about the mixture of beats and the layers of the instruments. And, of course, how it changes with every Doctor change.
