Hump Day is about to get a whole lot better. Discovery will bring us a full night of Josh Gates, and we can’t wait.
You know Josh Gates as the host of Expedition Unknown. He recently started Expedition X, which is returning for its second season in November. But before that, viewers will get the chance to watch Josh Gates Tonight, a new talk show that brings celebrities and experts virtually to our screens.
The Wednesday adventures with one of our favorite hosts will begin on Nov. 11, 2020.
Josh Gates Tonight
Let’s start with the first show to arrive on our screens. Matthew McConaughey will be the first guest for Gates, and everything has happened in a pandemic-friendly way. The interview is virtual, making sure we got new programming when Discovery crews couldn’t get anywhere.

After an hour of Josh Gates Tonight, viewers will get to continue the adventure with an all-new season of Expedition X. Josh will send his investigators into some of the strangest places in the world. It’s time to visit the places of legends to see if any of them are true.
Some of the exciting expeditions this season include a look at the Bell Witch legend, the Loch Ness Monster, and Bigfoot sightings. Oh yes, this is perfect for mystery fans.
