The second episode making the cut is a wild one that puts Gloria in an odd place.

Moving onto the next episode, this one was a little bit tough but the episode coming in third place is Season 3’s “It Snakes a Village.” While this episode does provide a lot of backstory about what’s going on with Linda’s parents, it doesn’t feature Gloria nearly as much as Linda’s father, Al. For that reason, it’s relegated to third place in this list but let’s get into the episode.

The episode features the Belcher family going down to Florida to visit Linda’s parents in a retirement community. Things are going great until Linda and Bob figure out that it’s a retirement home for swingers. Linda is disgusted at first but Bob’s on a mission to help them so they don’t move in with them.

Eventually, Bob is able to talk to Linda’s father, Al, and aid them in participating with the other residents. However, once they leave, Bob and Linda both agree that they’re never going back down there to visit them.

Between the two, this episode focuses more on Linda’s dad, Al, and less on Gloria. She’s definitely still there but she doesn’t play as large of a role as in other episodes. It is fun to see Linda’s parents especially Gloria out of her shell. While it’s not Gloria’s best appearance, it is one of the few episodes where Gloria is a major part of the plot.

Ultimately, the plotline with the kids wanting to catch a snake is a lot more fun and is where the episode title comes from.
