During the episode, a prison inmate arrives after being stabbed by another inmate. The shiv is still inside the body, but there’s something else everyone has to do first. They need to stabilize her.
Both Bash and June are excellent when it comes to emergencies. They remain focused and calm but still work with a sense of urgency. Something that many medical dramas show is how doctors can fight over procedures, but in this sneak peek from our friends at NBC, both June and Bash work together.
As Bash deals with one situation, June deals with another. And when Dr. Bishop walks in, June is the one that gets to carry out the main procedure. Bash has done this before, but he steps back as soon as he’s given the command. There are no hard feelings between the two residents.

What to expect elsewhere on Transplant Season 1, Episode 11
This isn’t the last you’ll see of the two docs. Bash will continue to bond with the patient, especially when it turns out the shiv isn’t the only thing that could potentially kill her.
Meanwhile, June is going to work with another doctor but in a personal way. Mags wants to find some work-life balance, and June is all up for that. It’s fun to see June interact more with the other doctors, especially Mags as the two have supported each other more in the hospital.
June also has her own patient to deal with. There’s a kid with some serious health problems but he’s not the most forthcoming. She’ll need Theo’s help for that. However, Theo needs to have a difficult conversation with his wife back home.
