Let’s talk about Season 11’s Bob’s Burgers Christmas treat, “Yachty or Nice.”

Moving onto Season 11, we’re getting our last Bob’s Burgers episode of 2020. Christmas is coming a little bit early for the Belchers and will hopefully give us some cheer. Before talking about what happened in the episode, be sure that you’re caught up and have watched “Yachty or Nice.” With that out of the way, let’s talk about what happened in the episode.

“Yachty or Nice” starts off with the family getting excited to cater a yacht club dinner but Bob is feeling a little nervous and asks the Yacht Club president why the restaurant was picked and he finds out it was all because of Jimmy Pesto.

Jimmy explains that he did it to try and suck up to the president but Bob is convinced he’s being set up. Bob becomes increasingly more paranoid as the night goes on including thinking Jimmy is going to pants him and trying to prevent it as much as possible.

The Yacht Club president has the vendors come up to the stage and talk about their businesses but Bob is still incredibly paranoid so he can’t enjoy the moment. Bob and Jimmy end up getting into a fight in front of everyone and falling in the water.

Bob eventually discovers that Jimmy just wanted to make himself look good, didn’t care about embarrassing Bob and he thought they would love Bob’s Burgers. The episode ends with Bob making things right for Jimmy and Linda getting her moment with the mayor.

Meanwhile, Teddy dresses up as Santa for the club and the kids want to use him to get special present privileges including getting Gus to take them to the Santa boat. The kids get on the boat but are quickly spotted by Teddy who makes them chose. They decide to take the presents and feel guilty so they give the gifts back and Teddy surprises them with a gift.

As far as Christmas episodes go, this was a pretty good one. Unlike previous year’s episodes, this one has a few more plotlines, but it was clear that Bob’s was the most important.

“Yachty or Nice” didn’t focus nearly as much on Christmas but rather on the goodwill the family had towards others. For Bob, it was Jimmy while the kids learned a lesson about being selfish and Linda got her time with the mayor. Ultimately, everyone got what they wanted for Christmas and it was delightful.
