2. Love Life

When HBO Max first started, it didn’t have many originals. However, it did bring one of its best to start. Love Life starring Anna Kendrick quickly became a must-watch. It’s no wonder it’s on the list of most-watched HBO Max shows in 2020.

The series follows Kendrick’s character, Darby, as she tries to find love. We see her relationship mishaps, her one-night-stands, and the guy that she is possibly destined to be with forever. It offered a look at how love isn’t always perfect or what we expect it to be, but that’s okay.

A second season is in the works but won’t continue Darby’s search. Instead, Love Life is turning into an anthology series to continue the look for new love.

1. Raised By Wolves

One of those shows we didn’t know we needed came in 2020 on HBO Max. It was all about Ridley Scott’s Raised By Wolves.

The series follows a world where human children are raised by two androids. The idea is that humans will be raised better by androids, but is that really the case? And are humans worth saving when the androids learn that human nature of treachery and religious differences threatens it all.

It quickly became one of those must-watch shows, so is it that surprising that it’s on this list of most-watched HBO Max shows in 2020? Yes, there is a second season confirmed.
