Servant season 2, episode 2 features one of the most haunting scenes in the series yet!

The psychological series Servant on Apple TV Plus has given audiences many chilling scenes that stay in our minds long after watching. Season 2, episode 2, titled “Spaceman,” however, possibly features the most haunting one so far.

From the way everyone swings the baby doll around to Sean’s rotting-looking hand, there are many scenes that make me quickly look away from the screen while watching Servant. But the latest frightening scene was a bit different.

This one didn’t make us cringe or look away. On the contrary, it was one we couldn’t blink or look away from, all while terrified about what would be happening next.

Did you watch Servant season 2, episode 2 and already know which scene I’m referring to? If you still need to catch up on the latest episode, please note there are spoilers ahead!

What did Roscoe see in Servant season 2, episode 2?

Did anyone else forget all about Roscoe? It wasn’t until he was shown waking up in his car that I  remembered he was tasked with keeping an eye on things.

This was Monday, but Roscoe wakes up confused and incredibly hungry on a Friday. When he shows up at Sean’s house, both Sean and Julian are puzzled. They ask Roscoe where he has been all this time. This is when Roscoe realizes he has been gone for four days.

Unable to remember anything about the last several days, Natalie is brought in to try to hypnotize Roscoe. It works. But no one was ready for what they learned.

Under hypnosis, Roscoe begins to break down crying and mumbling about what happened. It’s not very clear, but we hear Roscoe frighteningly share that he was tied up with straw, and that he could smell something rotten.

Roscoe goes on to whimper about everyone around him getting on their knees for “him” and  passing a crying baby over to “him.” Then, “he” takes out the baby’s eyes and throws them away.

Excuse me, what?!

Even Julian breaks down and can’t believe what he is hearing. As usual, at the end of it he pretends he doesn’t believe anything and suggests that Roscoe was drugged. Audiences aren’t so sure about that, though.

What on earth did Roscoe see? Who is this man (or creature, since Roscoe also said that “he” has hooks as hands)? Is this person/creature the one Leanne’s cult worships? The haunting description, particularly the hook, makes him sound like a demon or Satan himself!

What are your theories?
