Are Jenelle and Barbara Evans feuding again? It definitely looks like it.

The former Teen Mom 2 star claimed her mom blocked her on social media over their latest custody drama, reports E! News. For most of his life, Jenelle’s eldest son Jace has been living with his grandmother, Barbara. And reportedly, she does still have full custody, despite conflicting claims.

Earlier this month on TikTok, Jenelle Evans decided to let her fans know how well she’s been doing and most notably, how far she’s come since her MTV days. To the surprise of many, the controversial reality star claimed she now has full custody of her son, Jace. Understandably, Barbara Evans felt the need to quickly set the record straight.

As we previously reported, Barbara told TMZ that she had called her daughter to clear up the confusion. Apparently, Jenelle had “misspoke” when she claimed she now had custody of Jace. From the looks of what’s going on now, there’s probably way more to the misunderstanding than that. And likely, more drama to come.

As noted by E! News, the 29-year-old MTV alum posted a video to her YouTube channel over this past weekend, explaining what’s really going on in the custody battle with Barbara. In the video, Jenelle claimed her mom “blocked” her, and said that while Jace has been living with his grandmother, Barbara allegedly no longer wants him living there due to behavioral issues, and so the plan changed.

Jenelle went on to tell her subscribers that she’s “pretty pissed,” revealing, “Jace was living with me the past week, and now circumstances have changed. Why have they changed? Because my mom can’t put down her pride.” After Jenelle’s initial TikTok, Barbara clarified publicly that she still had custody, but according to Jenelle, she left out some of the important details of their current arrangement when talking to TMZ.

Jenelle said she definitely has Jace in her custody way more often lately, even if not “full-time,” but now her mother is fighting to “take him back.”

The ex Teen Mom 2 cast member stated:

"Now she took Jace back, now she’s trying to apologize to me and saying, ‘Come on, we got along for so well for so long, and now you’re just going to throw it all away?’ Me? No. You threw it all away when you went and talked to TMZ behind my back."

Hopefully, this is just a bump in the road for Jenelle and Barbara’s relationship. Over the holidays, fans were pleasantly surprised to see that Barbara joined the family Christmas card. At the time, it looked like their mother-daughter relationship was definitely moving in a more positive direction. And maybe it still will.

For Jace’s sake, let’s hope Barbara and Jenelle Evans are both able to put their pride aside and sort this one out sooner rather than later.
