The HouseGuests were thrown a curveball at the end of Episode 11 of Big Brother Canada 9 when host Arisa Cox informed them the winner of this week’s HOH Competition would be anonymous.

As a result, the HOH, deemed the Invisible HOH, would get to make their nominations in private and compete in this week’s POV competition. With the threat of an HOH that carried virtually no consequences, the Big Brother Canada HouseGuests felt pressure to come out on top.

Who became the first Invisible HOH, and who did they nominate? Let’s talk about what happened on Episode 12 of Big Brother Canada 9.

Big Brother Canada 9: Who became the Invisible HOH?

For this week’s HOH competition, the HouseGuests each stood in a booth, unable to see their fellow HouseGuests. Above them, a conveyor belt began dropping rocks into the Backyard. The HouseGuests had to keep track of how many rocks were falling by clicking a button, which displayed their count digitally.

The HouseGuest that got close to the correct number of rocks fallen without going over would become the first-ever Invisible HOH.

The HouseGuests immediately felt the pressure, with Jedson telling us in the DR that he was worried he’d be a target with the fear of putting someone on the block and missing the shot removed for this week’s HOH. Meanwhile, Victoria and Rohan were pleased with this new twist, with Victoria looking to cause chaos and Rohan looking to get revenge after being targeted last week and losing his closest ally Kyle.

To make the competition even more interesting, Arisa offered temptations to the HouseGuests. Although no one accepted the first temptation, a feast for the HouseGuests, Victoria and Tina claimed the next two, a Slop Pass and a letter from home, respectively.

However, there would be no surprises until the end of the competition, when Tera and Victoria found themselves anonymously tied for the Invisible HOH title. Ultimately, a tie-breaker question allowed Victoria to anonymously claim victory, setting off a hectic week for the HouseGuests.

Paranoia sets in

Everyone began sizing each other up as they headed back into the house, following the competition. To protect against the accusations that were sure to start getting thrown around, Tera reiterated her allegiance to the Oddballs to Austin, Breydon, and Tina.

Luckily, as they later stood in the Kitchen with Rohan, Breydon suggested that Tychon might have won the Invisible HOH, noting his demeanor following the competition.

Rohan believed it was Tina.

Meanwhile, in the Destiny Bedroom, Beth threw out Breydon’s name to Tychon, while Tychon told Beth and Jedson he believed any combination of the three of them would likely get nominated.

In the Have-Not Room, Austin, Rohan, and Victoria discussed the competition. In the DR, Rohan explained that the Oddballs alliance isn’t as close as they used to be, but that he trusted Victoria, despite believing she is playing both sides and hoped she would keep him safe if she won.

However, as Victoria dove into the ball pit, Rohan discreetly asked Austin if she or Breydon won the competition. She denied it, and Rohan said he believed it was Tychon. Upon emerging from the pit, Victoria remained tight-lipped about her victory.

However, that wouldn’t stop her from eventually having a bit of fun with Kiefer, hinting at her power without confirming it.

To try and gain some perspective of his own, Rohan headed to the Defender Bedroom to talk with Jedson and Tychon to let them know that among his name, Tychon and Beth were also prime suspects. Although Tychon denied it, Rohan let us know, in the DR, he wasn’t buying it.

Interestingly, Tychon and Jedson, who were becoming worried that their names were getting thrown around, would campaign to Austin and Breydon to be safe. They then made a pitch to Victoria, telling her that they will keep her safe next week and want to work with her in the future.

Although Victoria said, in the DR, she was considering nominating the boys, she would say that Austin was also a prime target, their relationship has deteriorated after Victoria’s first HOH reign. To further conceal her position as HOH, Victoria named herself as a Have-Not for the week, along with Austin, Breydon, and Kiefer. This move would seem to arouse suspicion that one of Beth, Jedson, and Tychon was the Invisible HOH.

Yet suspicion would not seem to fall on Victoria, who’d been a Have-Not the following week and obtained a Slop Pass at the HOH Competition. Unfortunately, the case seemed to remain unsolved by the time the Nomination Ceremony came around. Luckily for Jedson and Tychon, Austin and Breydon would be the duo to find themselves on the block this week.
