Worlds may be colliding! If you’re a fan of the Biebs and Friends is your go-to comfort comedy series, then the Friends reunion special set to stream on HBO Max is going to be your favorite show on any platform. Justin Bieber has reportedly filmed a cameo for the upcoming special, and he may have done so in an iconic costume from the sitcom.

Justin Bieber is rumored to have donned Ross’ Spudnik costume from the season 8 holiday episode, “The One with the Halloween Party.” Fans will certainly be stunned before falling into a fit of laughter if this is true, as Ross’ Halloween get-up was a punny take on the Russian satellite, Sputnik.

Could fans see Justin Bieber as a potato, outfitted in a metal bowl with TV antennae protruding from his head? As the singer has said before, “Never say never.”

Will there be scripted sketches on the Friends reunion?

Rumors don’t always have to pare out into truths but this one could bring some fun and smiles to all involved. The Daily Mail’s reporting includes a reference to David Schwimmer’s hinting of scripted sketches possibly being a feature of the Friends reunion special.

But, of course, fans of the show shouldn’t be expecting too many sketches or special appearances. The special, like the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunion, is meant to be an unscripted conversation between the main cast of Friends.

Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and Matthew Perry are set to have a sit-down together that’s certain to make TV history.

Friends aired from 1994 to 2004, spending a decade on air. It’s been nearly 20 years since its finale but every year new fans fall in love with the show, cementing the series in the hallowed halls of classic television that lives on in the hearts of its viewers.

The Friends reunion special doesn’t have a release date yet. We’ll keep you posted on more news concerning the special, including when fans of Justin Bieber could possibly see him dressed as Spudnik.
