General Hospital spoilers: Jax shocks Nina by uttering Sonny’s name

On Friday’s episode of General Hospital, Jax was shot by some thugs who seemed to be robbing the western-themed fundraiser that Nina and Sonny were at. Of course, it’s likely that Elijah may have put them up to it, but whatever is the case, Jax is now laid up supposedly fighting for his life.

Before he was whisked away to the hospital, Jax caught sight of Sonny standing before him. Nina looked quite shell-shocked by the scene in front of her. So far, she has had Sonny all to herself. Little did she know that Jax would show up and ruin everything.

Monday’s episode will see Nina by Jax’s bedside willing him to be okay. In the new General Hospital preview clip, Jax wakes up, which makes Nina happy. That is until he utters Sonny’s name. How will Nina handle this situation she finds herself in? Will she try to convince him that he was just hallucinating?

It stands to reason that Nina will do her best to keep her secret. That secret is to conceal Sonny for as long as she can. She has been infatuated with this new version of the former mobster, but the truth is that she is keeping Sonny from his family back home in Port Charles.

Carly is doing her best to keep her and her kids safe while her husband is presumed dead and Jason is in prison. She needs Sonny back home now more than ever, but it all depends on what Nina’s next move will be.

General Hospital spoilers hint that Jax heads home

Spoilers for the first week of May reveals that Jax is okay and may be heading home. SheKnows Soaps says that he is hoping to get daughter Joss to confide in him. That seemingly means that he will be back in Port Charles by then, while Nina stays right where she is with her new life. It sure doesn’t look like Jax will be running to Carly to let her know her husband is alive and well.

It’s likely that Nina will continue to lie. Ever since she found out that Nelle is her daughter and that Carly and Jax kept that from her, she has been outraged and hurt. Now she is seemingly falling for Carly’s husband, who is definitely not his former self.

It sounds like she will be convincing Jax that she doesn’t want to go back with him right now, that she needs more time away from Port Charles. General Hospital spoilers also reveal that Nina may be going to extremes to protect her secret.
