When is Halloween Kills leaving Peacock?

Horror fans were highly anticipating the return of Michael Myers in Halloween Kills and were super excited to learn that the movie would premiere just in time for Halloween and both on the big-screen and online. But the horror movie is soon leaving its streaming platform.

After Halloween Kills arrived, as happy as fans were to see Michael Myers again, let’s just say the movie wasn’t very well-received. It featured many fun moments, but, for the most part, failed to impress.

The world of streaming can get very confusing. We are never too sure where (or when) a movie will stream online — or if it will only arrive in theaters. I first assumed the movie will stream on HBO Max as that’s where most big features go, but that wasn’t the case. Halloween Kills opened in theaters, but also streamed on Peacock on Oct. 15, 2021. With the pandemic still strong, many fans decided to watch the movie from home and subscribed to Peacock to watch, a huge win for the new streaming platform.

Even though the movie is relatively new, it’s not staying on Peacock forever. In fact, its days are numbered.
