It has been 22 years since the debut of The Matrix, which was met with massive praise. Neo is back and the big question of the week is, will it be available on the small screen, big screen, or both? Here’s what you need to know about The Matrix Resurrections.

Keanu Reeves has had one of those career resurgences that I didn’t see coming over the last couple of years. Of course, his career wasn’t exactly dead and we saw him in roles that were…kind of weird? But also, not good. But then, John Wick entered the picture and the rest has become history for him.

I have to admit, I haven’t seen any of the three Matrix movies (don’t kill me), but I know that fans are incredibly excited to see the films return. I have thought about doing a binge-watch before its release or doing what no one wants me to do and watch the fourth one before watching any of the others. I’ll report back, which I will do in the future.

The details for the plot are unknown, but we have seen some additions to the cast in Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jonathan Groff, Priyanka Chopra and many more.

One vital thing to remember, though, the movie will only be available on the streaming platform for 30 days. If we follow the history of other movies dual-released on HBO Max, they return roughly within six months of its release, but it will depend on the box office.
