Fans are shipping Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt again after both stars say they’re ready to date

Out of all the major celebrity relationships throughout the years, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt are one pairing many truly miss. The two actors began dating back in 1998 and were almost instantly the “it” couple in Hollywood, attending red carpet events together frequently. By 2000, they two got married — but unfortunately, they called it quits in 2005.

Since then, fans have begged for Aniston and Pitt to reconcile their romance, especially after Pitt’s marriage to Angelina Jolie ended. For Aniston’s part, she also got remarried, but her marriage to Justin Theroux failed shortly after.

The two award-winning actors have remained on good terms, memorably reuniting publicly at the 2020 SAG Awards and then again virtually for a table read of Fast Times at Ridgemont High for charity later that year. So what are the chances they might actually get back together?

Fans are shipping the two former Friends co-stars once more, after a recent report from US Weekly claimed Pitt is ready to date again. “[He wants to] find that special someone to be with long-term,” a source told the publication, adding, “The trouble is that he hates the process and how he can’t even step out for a friendly coffee without it being gossiped about.”

ELLE reminds us that this comes soon after Aniston herself confirmed she wanted to get back into the dating game. As we previously reported in September, The Morning Show star said she’s, “ready to share myself with another.”

Fans have certainly taken notice of the fact that Aniston and Pitt are both looking for love, taking to Twitter to share their thoughts.

Of course, just because fans want Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt to get back together, doesn’t mean they ever will. They’ve definitely seemed flirty on occasion and perhaps they still do have lingering feelings for one another, but the chances they’ll reconcile do seem pretty slim. But, who knows? If Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck can get back together, anything in Hollywood can happen.
