6 – Barb and Star Go To Vista Del Mar

Barb and Star are two middle-aged best friends in Nebraska who get fired from their job at a local furniture store and plan a beach vacation in paradise. Except, this trip to Florida is the first time they’ve ever left home, and we didn’t stop laughing as they took on the resort lifestyle in Vista Del Mar. The comedy stars Kristen Wiig, ‎Annie Mumolo‎, and ‎Jamie Dornan.

5 – Mother/Android

If you’re looking for sci-fi or thriller Hulu movies before counting down to the new year, the new release Mother/Android might be the perfect fit. Set in the not-so-distant future, the film follows a young pregnant couple as they try to find safety and escape from their country — which is battling against an uprising of droids.

If you’re looking for more laughs this New Year’s Eve, Vacation Friends is a buddy comedy film starring Lil Rel Howery, Yvonne Orji, John Cena, and Meredith Hagner. While on vacation in Mexico, a couple meets another couple and assume they’ll be short-term friends, but when they get back home, their friendship unexpectedly continues and things get awkward. The movie is described as raw and raunchy, and is full of fun and comical antics.
