When is Yellowjackets season 2 coming out?

If you’re feeling a tad frustrated by the season 1 finale of Yellowjackets, welcome to the club. While I love our Yellowjacket girls and would happily watch them do anything, I would be lying if I didn’t say I was expecting more from the season 1 finale. But getting more questions than answers isn’t always a bad thing. And, fortunately, the series has already been renewed for a second season, so we can at least rest easy knowing that there are more episodes to come.

Is Yellowjackets season 2 coming in 2022?

If you want my guess, yes! The first season dropped on Showtime in November 2021. And seasons are typically one year apart. Going by this unwritten rule, season 2 could be premiering on Showtime in late 2022, perhaps November, just like season 1 did.

Of course, there are many things to consider such as the cast availability and, the biggest factor of all, the ongoing pandemic. There’s still a possibility of delays due to COVID. But if it all goes according to plan, you can expect the season to come by the end of this year. At this time, there are no reports of production starting, so don’t be too disappointed if we have to wait a little longer, such as early 2023. When do you think Yellowjackets season 2 will arrive?
