Is The Book of Boba Fett getting a second season?

With nominations for Outstanding Drama Series at the 72nd Emmy Awards and winner of 7 Emmy’s in Creative Arts, people have been more than a little obsessed with this extension of the Star Wars franchise. The second season of The Mandalorian also performed well, opening the door for its renewal and season 3, currently filming with an anticipated 2022 premiere.

Is The Book of Boba Fett season 2 happening?
