This is Us season 6 has certainly been a powerful and emotional season. We expected nothing less from the popular NBC series. What really pulls at fans’ heartstrings is that season 6 marks the end of the beloved show.

Fans have known this day was coming since May 2021. That’s when the network shared the news that season 6 would be the last. We’ve had time to come to terms with the news, but I still can’t help but tear up!

The awesome ensemble cast Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, Susan Kelechi Watson, Chris Sullivan, Jon Huertas, Caitlin Thompson, Niles Fitch, Logan Shroyer, Hannah Zeile, Eris Baker, Faithe Herman, Lyric Ross, Asante Blackk, and Griffin Dunne have played their characters so beautifully and they will always be remembered.

We’ve been following the lives of the Pearsons across several time periods for the past six years, and so much has happened to this family. We’ve seen the ups, the downs, and everything else in between. So when can we expect that final episode?

When is the This is Us season 6 finale?

Fans will say goodbye to the beloved series on Tuesday, May 24. TVLine shared the upcoming NBC season finales. This is Us is the only announced series finale so far.

A new episode airs tonight, the eleventh in the season. Back in January, executive producer Ken Olin shared that the season will have a total of 18 episodes. This was the case for all previous seasons except the fifth which has 16 episodes.

This is Us season 6 is starting to tie up loose ends to get to the conclusion of its story. How will things play out for the Pearson trio? It’s going to be so emotional saying goodbye. The show is so good at addressing many life challenges head on. It doesn’t back down from exploring or representing everyday struggles.

But, unfortunately, all good things must come to an end eventually. I’m certain the writers will give us a satisfying conclusion to such an epic story. The end is near, but let’s enjoy the journey with the remaining final episodes!

The series finale of This is Us airs Tuesday, May 24 at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
