The Conjuring movies in order (and where to watch them all)

This spooky season, whether you want to get into the Conjuring universe for the first time rewatch the movies in a different order, we are here to help! With the recent release of The Nun 2, here’s how to watch all of The Conjuring movies chronologically or in the order of release.

James Wan took the horror world by storm with the release of The Conjuring in 2013. A decade later, the movie continues to be a horror favorite, it features well-executed scares, brilliant acting, and clever storytelling.

There are several spinoffs (and more to come), but the heart of the franchise is still The Conjuring, which stars Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as Ed and Lorraine Warren, respectively. The actors share incredible chemistry. The movies starring the pair are, without a doubt, the best in the franchise.

If you want to start from the very beginning, the movie to watch is The Nun, set in the 1950s. Which movie follows if we’re looking at The Conjuring Universe in timeline from beginning to now? Here are the movies in chronological order:
