Moon Knight episode 4: How did Layla’s father die?

Moon Knight episode 4 is one mind-blowing chapter! Fans are still gathering their thoughts after watching the latest episode of the Marvel series on Disney+, there’s just so much to unpack! Let’s focus on one thing at a time. In this post, let’s chat about Layla’s (May Calamawy) father and the sketchy story about his death. How did Layla’s father die? Did Marc (Oscar Isaac) kill Layla’s father?

Episode 3 introduces audiences to Layla’s mom and we learn that her father has passed away, but the details are blurry. In episode 4, Arthur Harrow (Ethan Hawke) fills Layla in on what truly happened the night her father died. Well, all he know is that this is Harrow’s own version of the events. Can he really be trusted?

Moon Knight episode 4: Did Marc kill Layla’s father?

According to Harrow, while on the job, Marc got greedy and killed everyone. Now, that doesn’t sound like Marc to me. I really don’t think he would do this and then lie about it. Marc does admit that it’s the man he brought on that ended up shooting Layla’s father. Marc does feel guilty about it and has tried to tell Layla, but wasn’t sure how to do so.

However, let’s not forget that Marc is not alone in his mind. Marc may not have killed Layla’s father, but what if another of his personalities did? You never know! And if this was the case, do you think Marc knows he did do it, but doesn’t want to tell Layla? It would’ve been the time to confess if so.
