Who does Kevin end up with on This Is Us?

Last night’s This is Us episode, “The Night Before the Wedding,” was all about Kevin and who his ultimate true love is. Now, we have the answer.

Following Madison and Beth’s hilarious mystery hunt for who Kevin spent the previous night with in episode 13, we go back to the start of the day in Tuesday night’s episode to put all the pieces together. It turns out Kevin didn’t spend the night with anyone, but he did have a busy evening.

The three possible ladies in his life were his ex-wife Sophie, best friend Cassidy (who he’s spent a night with before), and the wedding singer Arielle. But really, the focus of the episode was on Kevin and Sophie.

I think we all knew (or at least held high hopes) where the story was going. The writers managed to keep us holding our breaths until the final moments, but it was satisfying and oh so worth it!

Who does Kevin end up with on This Is Us?

This is Us has made our shipping hearts happy. It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for. Kevin and Sophie fans can now rest easy knowing this couple is getting their happy ending!

With the majority of the episode spent with the couple, we see how it’s finally the right time for them to reconnect. Kevin never forgot about Sophie, and she never forgot about him. Now she’s also divorced, which Kevin didn’t know about until she told him at the wedding. Once she shares that information, they just keep making eyes at each other.

After almost sleeping together, Sophie gets scared. But eventually the two come to realize they need to take this chance together thanks to some wise words from Randall and Rebecca. Sophie gives her love a heartwarming speech. She’s happy that Kevin has finally grown up and become the man she always knew he could be. Aw!

Kevin and Sophie have been friends since elementary school, and Sophie is also Kate’s best friend. Kevin reveals he’s held onto a Valentine card he made from the first day she walked into his class. That melted our hearts and Sophie’s! The two finally kiss, with his whole family as the audience, cheering in support. All of us at home were definitely doing the same!

New episodes of This is Us season 6 air Tuesdays, with the series finale set for May 24 on NBC.
