When does Chucky season 2 premiere on SYFY?

When it comes to horror, there are few big names. However, before there was Annabelle, there was Chucky and it’s best you don’t forget his name. When is Chucky season 2 coming out on SYFY?

Originally released as a film series, the Child’s Play franchise has gone under major transformations. First, it was all about the horror and gore of a killer doll. Then in the ‘90s, things shifted to a more comedic approach before eventually changing it back to horror in the 2010s.

Since then, Child’s Play has really become the Chucky franchise. While the original films are great, most of us know Chucky from his recent films or Season 1 of the SYFY series. Even so, the show does an excellent job of mixing horror and comedy without either one overshadowing the other.

If you loved Season 1 of Chucky, then no doubt you’re curious about when Season 2 is coming out and thankfully, we do know a bit about it.

When is Chucky season 2 coming out?

Thankfully, we don’t have to wait that much longer to see Season 2 of Chucky. According to the official SYFY website, Season 2 is going to be coming this fall. While there wasn’t an exact date mentioned, it shouldn’t come as any surprise. The show is the perfect companion to most of our spooky fall watches.

With the release date not officially confirmed, now is the perfect time to either go and watch Season 1 or do a rewatch. With the entire first season being on Peacock, there is no better way to spend your sunny days than watching your favorite doll wreak havoc.

For long-time fans of the franchise, this was a unique way to see such an iconic killer but the show also paid homage to the films that came before it. Most of that is probably due to the fact that Don Mancini who created the character is also involved in the show. It’s clear Mancini knew what he was doing and that he knows how to please both new and old fans. Overall, Season 1 of Chucky was excellent and no doubt Season 2 will pick up where the show left off.
