Dancing with the Stars season 31 cast: Who’s in the new season?
It’s almost time for another round of Dancing with the Stars, coming our way very soon! Season 31 of the dance competition series will be here Monday, Sept. 19 on Disney+.
The reality show ran on ABC for 16 years, but will be released on another platform this fall. Back in April, the network announced that DWTS season 31 will be streaming on Disney+ instead of airing on ABC. This shocked many fans as it’s a different concept for the streaming service. I guess we’ll soon see just how it’ll work. The live, weekly schedule will remain the same.
Taking on hosting duties in the ballroom are Tyra Banks and newly recruited Alfonso Ribeiro. At the judge’s table, the familiar faces we know will remain the same. Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough will all be back to dish out their advice and scores.
There’s lots of details we know ahead the upcoming season. But one aspect that’s still unclear is which celebs will be waltzing their way around the ballroom.
Who’s in the cast of Dancing with the Stars season 31?
The full celebrity cast list has not been announced yet. According to TVLine, the full list is supposed to be announced on Thursday, Sept. 8.
Updated – Sept. 8, the full DWTS cast list
Joseph Baena
The 24-year old is the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Like his father, at the beginning of his career, he’s known for bodybuilding and being a fitness model. Baena will be partnered with Daniella Karagach, last season’s Mirroball winner.
Selma Blair
From starring in American Crime Story and Legally Blonde, Selma Blair is an actress who has taken on many roles. Her latest tackle, though? Dancing with the Stars! Her dancing partner is Sasha Farber, a finalist in season 26 and season 28.
Wayne Brady
Next up, we have Wayne Brady joining the dance floor. Brady is known for CBS’ Let’s Make a Deal and Whose Line Is It Anyway?, where do you know the actor and TV personality? Brady will be partnering up with Witney Carson, season 19’s winner.
Sam Champion
Sam Champion already has “champion” in his name, will he go for the gold? The TV news personality is our favorite New York resident weather anchor, we can’t wait to see him dance up a storm on DWTS. Champion will dance with Cheryl Burke, season 2 and season 3 winner.
Charli D’Amelio
The TikTok star’s involvement in this coming season of Dancing with the Stars was the first to be teased and later revealed. D’Amelio is a social media influencer known for her dance moves on TikTok, but DWTS requires very different skills. D’Amelio’s dance partner is season 6 and season 8 winner, Mark Ballas.
Heidi D’Amelio
Competing against her daughter, Charli, is Heidi D’Amelio. She is known for Hulu’s The D’Amelio Show and being Charli’s mom. D’Amelio may not be very well known, but she’s got a very famous dancing partner in Artem Chigvintsev, season 29 winner.
Jessie James Decker
The country singer will be dancing with Alan Bersten, season 28 winner. Jessie is already well connected to music, but can she dance to the beat this season?

You may recognize Trevor Donovan from the CW’s 90210 or even Days of Our Lives on NBC. Now, he is wanting to show us if dancing is another talent of his alongside Emma Slater, season 24 winner.

If Teresa Giudice seems familiar, that’s because she’s one of the most recognizable reality stars from Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey. She can handle drama like no other, but can she dance? We’re about to find out! Pasha Pashkov will be her dance partner.
Vinny Guadagnino
Here’s someone all millennials recognize, Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino. Interestingly enough, Guadagnino will be paired with Koko Iwasaki, a first-time DWTS dance pro.
Cheryl Ladd
Dance pro Louis van Amstel, season 9 finalist, will be teaching actress Cheryl Ladd a thing or two. You may recognize the star from ABC’s Charlie’s Angels and Poison Ivy.
Jason Lewis
Any Sex and the City fans here? Jason Lewis, also known for his role in NBC’s Midnight, Texas, will be partnering up with season 14 and season 22 winner Peta Murgatroyd.
