What is Matthew Perry’s memoir about?

As touched on briefly, Perry’s memoir will discuss many of his biggest life events, which include stardom, Friends, and substance abuse. When the actor first started promoting Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing, he noted that a lot has been written about him in the past and he wants to clear the air on various things. “I thought it was time people heard from me. The highs were high, the lows were low. But I have lived to tell the tale, even though at times it looked like I wouldn’t,” he tweeted earlier this year.

There have been multiple reports this year that have claimed Perry will be getting into the nitty-gritty of his experience with the Friends cast, though this has not been confirmed by the actor himself. A surprising rumor come out in March which said Perry and Matt LeBlanc were no longer on good terms, and that the memoir would shed light on why that is. An insider also claimed Perry would address rumors about his former co-stars.

We’re sure Perry won’t be leaving out any important details in his memoir, but there’s only one way to find out. You can pre-order Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing right now, which hits bookshelves on Nov. 1, 2022.
