Smile is ready to haunt your dreams as the spooky Halloween season is in full swing! There’s really no better way to welcome October than watching a scary movie on the big screen. And though scary movies are not loved by critics, Smile actually has a pretty good score over at Rotten Tomatoes, both from critics and fans. Not that we listen to critics when it comes to movie scores in the horror genre, but it certainly helps.

What is the movie Smile about?

According to the synopsis, the psychological horror movie follows Dr. Rose Cotter (portrayed by Sosie Bacon) after she witnesses a traumatic incident involving one of her patients. Frightening events begin to follow and haunt Rose, taking over her life. In order for this nightmare to end, and for Rose to survive, she needs to confront her past.

Can you stream the Smile movie online or is it only in theaters?

I’m all about watching movies from the comfort of my own couch! It saves me time and money. However, I believe scary movies are best enjoyed on the big screen, because nothing beats jump scares in a large, dark room, surrounded by fellow horror movie fans. Just don’t drop the popcorn during a jump scare!
