Rhaenyra and Daemon need to figure out the best option to save their lives and the lives of their children in the House of the Dragon Season 1 finale.

The Hightowers have taken over, and they seem to have the people’s support. If only the people knew exactly what was going on within the Targaryen family. Rhaenyra and Daemon are now in danger, along with their children.

Rhaenys has the chance to stop the civil war from happening. She came out with her dragon and then just flew away. Why didn’t she kill Alicent, Aegon, Otto, and the others? Maybe time will tell, but for now, she’s made her way to Dragonstone to warn Rhaenyra of the threat.

Otto wants Rhaenyra and Daemon dead. That’s not surprising considering the Iron Throne is Rhaenyra’s birthright. Viserys did not want Aegon on the throne at all, but Alicent misunderstood Viserys in his dying ramblings.

Will Rhaenyra storm the Red Keep in the House of the Dragon Season 1 finale?

There is only one option for Rhaenyra. She needs to wage war, and Daemon is on that side of thinking. He knows that if Rhaenyra bends the knee to the Greens, it means death. She is giving up her birthright, and Daemon did not marry her believing that would happen.

So, Rhaenyra has no choice but to wage war. She will need to storm the Red Keep, but that is much easier said than done. It doesn’t seem like anyone has any Scorpions (we know that Scorpions exist at this point if you’ve read FIre & Blood) but that doesn’t mean they’re not hiding somewhere.
