Shrinking cast: Who stars in the new Apple TV+ comedy?

A new Apple TV+ comedy is coming our way, and it’s all about a grieving therapist who breaks the rules. Shrinking premieres Friday, Jan. 27, 2023 with the first two episodes! Will you be tuning in?

Following premiere day, one new episode will then be released weekly until the show’s 10-episode season debuts its finale on Friday, March 24, 2023.

The series introduces us to Jimmy, a grieving therapist who has just lost his wife. His struggle with her death, while also having to be a dad, friend, and therapist, leads him to taking on a new approach in his everyday life. Whoever Jimmy speaks to, he’ll give them “unfiltered” and “brutal honesty,” Apple TV+ shares.

He applies this new approach to his clients as well, which goes against his training and ethics and of course breaks the rules as a therapist. But will this actually benefit the people around him? And could Jimmy perhaps be helping himself as well? That’s what the new show will explore!

How I Met Your Mother actor Jason Segel plays grieving therapist, Jimmy. Another exciting addition to the cast is Star Wars alum Harrison Ford! Shrinking will be one of the actor’s first major television roles. He’s set to lead the upcoming Yellowstone prequel, 1923. Check out the full cast list below:
