Netflix viewers and fans of the royal family are obsessed with The Crown. But if you want the real story from the real people in the present, then you’re going to want to check out the streamer’s new docuseries, Harry & Meghan.

Back in January 2020, the couple announced they would be stepping back from being senior members of the royal family. This means they were stripped of their royal titles, would have to be financially independent, and could no longer represent the Queen.

This isn’t the first time the couple speaks up publicly. They’ve previously done a sit-down interview with Oprah to discuss the difficult situation. It seems like now, we’re going to be getting even more details.

The six-part documentary will be released in two volumes. Part 1 will premiere Thursday, Dec. 8, and part 2 will come out a week later on Thursday, Dec. 15.

What can we expect to see in the docuseries? We’ve got the answer for you below!

The episodes will also include interviews with Harry and Meghan’s friends and family who are speaking publicly for the first time, as well as historians who talk about the present day British Commonwealth and the royal family’s relationship with the press, the streamer shares.

The teaser trailer reveals sweet photos of the couple, Harry explaining that the public doesn’t know what happens behind closed doors, the lengths he went to “protect” his family, and Meghan explaining that it would make “more sense” to hear the story from the couple themselves.
