Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies cast: Who’s in the Grease spin-off?

Have you ever wondered how the Pink Ladies in 1978 iconic movie Grease were formed? Well, we’re going to get that answer in Paramount+‘s new prequel series, Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies!

The musical show will have songs, dancing, and takes place four years before the original movie. It’s Rydell High 1954 and four fed-up and outcasts girls come together to “have fun on their own terms,” the streaming service shares. Whatever changes they make, it changes their high school forever. And clearly their legacy continues on.

The 10-episode season is set to drop Thursday, April 6, 2023 on Paramount+. So who can we expect to see in the new series? We’ve got the answer for you below!

Who stars in Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies?

As this takes place four years before Grease, we won’t be seeing the four Pink Ladies we already love in the spin-off series. The upcoming musical show stars Marisa Davila in the main role as Jane, who is the leader of the girl group. The other three Pink Ladies are Cheyenne Isabel Wells as Olivia, Ari Notartomaso as Cynthia, and Tricia Fukuhara as Nancy. We’ve shared the full cast list below:

Annabel Oakes takes on showrunner, writer, and executive producer duties on the project. Marty Bowen, Adam Fishbach, Alethea Jones, Erik Feig, and Jamie Kim Falvey serve as executive producers alongside producer Grace Gilroy.

For the music and dancing, the series has executive music producer Justin Tranter for the bops and choreographer Jamal Sims for the steps.
